O novo modo matriz apresenta a vantagem de permitir ao V440 a leitura de até 400 códigos num único campo de visão; permite a cada código uma região de interesse limitada, o que significa que o tempo de leitura total é reduzido 2 a 3 vezes, em comparação com uma leitura em ecrã inteiro.
Uma nova UI simples permite ao utilizador definir uma ordenação global para todos os códigos no ecrã, garantindo que todos os códigos são emitidos por uma ordem específica com 8 configurações predefinidas.

The powerful yet compact MicroHAWK V/F400 and V/F300 Series Smart Cameras simplify applications by combining code reading and vision inspection into a single, highly compact device. Look inside the OMRON V440-F Fixed Mount Code Reader
OMRON has expanded the MicroHAWK range with the V440-F, which is ideal for reading multiple codes in a wide area, as well as for applications over longer distances and with minuscule barcodes. The compact V440-F Series provides high accuracy and configuration flexibility by combining advanced code reader technology from OMRON MICROSCAN SYSTEMS and image capture technology from OMRON SENTECH, that both joined the OMRON group in 2017. The V440-F is a high-resolution, field-configurable barcode reader that reads dozens of miniscule barcodes simultaneously for applications in which multiple barcoded products are within the field of view. This highly flexible and compact code reader can also be configured to read at a long distance or to find multiple codes in a wide area, or on parts moving at high speed. These configuration options make it ideally suited for reading one or many codes during product packaging or in an assembly operation where the code reader is located outside of the operator’s working area.
